David Keith Jungels died peacefully in his home on November 26, after a short battle with leukemia. His special friend Jeri Henderson was by his side. Dave was the only son of Ralph and Edye Jungels. He was born in Ft. Lewis, Washington on September 27, 1954. Dave graduated from RTHS in 1972.
He worked his entire life as a truck driver. Dave loved his job, and worked for several companies over the years, including Maplehurst and Roush Trucking. He was most recently employed by Graphic Arts Express Trucking. Dave was a diehard Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan. Dave was also an avid collector of all things, including cowboy boots, and eight track tapes.
Dave is survived by his sisters, Terri (Fred) Warning of Rochelle, Cathy (Roy) Stinson of Goodyear AZ, and Beth (Don) Carey of Glendale AZ. Nieces Amy Van Hise, and Danielle Carey. Nephews Mike (Jenn) Van Hise and Ben Stinson, and several great nephews and great nieces. Dave had a longtime friendship with Andy and Art Fuller.
Dave is preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Edye Jungels, and his nephews Will and Matt Stinson, Chris Adams, and Timothy Carey.
There are no services scheduled at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
