David T. Willis, 70, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Generations at Neighbors in Byron, Illinois. Dave was born on July 21, 1950 in Selma, Alabama to Oscar and Mary Jo (Capatina) Willis. On September 25, 1987, he married Jane Gasmund in DeKalb, IL. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Edward Willis, and a brother-in-law, Dale Cranmore.

Dave is survived by his wife of 33 years, Jane, of Rochelle; three children: Michael L. Willis, of Rochelle, Bryan A. Willis, of Poplar Grove, IL and Jody T. Willis of Rochelle; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two step-daughters, Donna L. Banta of DeKalb, IL and Teri Lynn (James) Patterson of NY; and four sisters, Barbara (Rick) Blackerby, Janice (David) Scott, Brenda Cranmore and Teresa (Tommy) Gaylor, all of Alabama..
