David F. Zell, 75, of Chana passed away Friday, April 12, 2019 in Dixon, Illinois. Dave was born on February 21, 1944 to Francis and Mary (Gilroy) Zell in Chana, Illinois. He proudly served with the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. Dave married Dawn Miller in 1993 in Oregon, IL.

Dave is survived by his wife, Dawn of Chana; son, Brian Zell of Pearl City, IL; and two sisters: Doris Danekas of Honey Creek, IL and Donna (Larry) Blume of Oregon, IL. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Zell and brother-in-law, Dick Danekas.

There will be a graveside service at 10:00 A.M., Monday, April 15, 2019 at Trinity Memory Gardens with Chaplain John Tuttle officiating. Military services will be provided by the Eastern Lee-Ogle Honor Guard. Memorials may be made in Dave's memory to the Eastern Lee-Ogle Honor Guard.
