Dee Ann Withrow, age 75, passed away at her home on Sunday, June 12, 2022, with her family at her side.  She was born on December 24, 1946, in Canton, IL, the daughter of Kenneth and Carol (Patterson) Parry.  On August 3, 1968, she married Bob Withrow in Farmington, IL.

Dee loved spending time with her family and many friends.  She had an eye for design and was always doing something crafty. If she wasn't at home, you could find her shopping.  She had a quick wit, and if sarcasm was a sport, she could have medaled in the Olympics. She was a fan of the outdoors in the way that she liked having a glass of wine on the patio,  especially if that patio was during her winters in Florida. She offered great advice, and had a wonderful sense of humor that could light up any room.  Dee was part of the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, working as the office manager for over 30 years and was treated like family.  So much so, it took her daughters years to realize they were not actual blood relatives.  Dee absolutely adored her two grandchildren, Ben and Kate.  She attended countless sporting events and activities through rain, sleet or snow.  She was so proud of who they were, and who they would become.

Survived by her husband of 53 years, Bob; two daughters: Nicki (Joe) Yaney of Barrington, IL and Stacey (Adam Feltner) Withrow of Arlington, TX; two grandchildren: Ben and Kate Yaney; her cousin, who was like a sister, Joan Gingerich of

St. Charles, MO and many dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022, from 4:00 - 5:50 P.M. at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. The funeral service will follow at 6:00 P.M.
