Della M. McCray, age 96, of Rochelle died on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at the Franklin Grove Nursing Home. She was born on July 28, 1913 in Clarence, IL, the daughter of Quinn and Edna Lee Davis. On May 26, 1950 she married Scotty A. McCray in Ashton, IL. He preceded her on Sept. 8, 1992. Also preceded by a Grandson Timothy Ohlinger, brother William Davis and sister Hattie Stockton
Della was a member of the Rochelle V.F.W. auxiliary, Rochelle Wildlife and Conservation Club and First United Presbyterian Church in Rochelle. She was an active member of the Rochelle Senior Citizen Center.

Survived by 2 sons, Charles (Marlene) McCray of Wenatchee, WA and Andrew (Linda) McCray of Chana, IL. 1 daughter Pat (Jerry) Ohlinger of Woodland CA.
7 grandchildren: Gina, Danny, Neil, Shellie, Scotty, Mandi and Michael
7 great grandchildren: Payton, Colton, Mitchell, Shay, Vincent, Madeline and Kaiden.

Funeral services will be Friday Oct. 2, 2009, 11:00 a.m. at Unger Horner Funeral Home, 400 N 6th St. Rochelle. With visitation on Friday form 10 a.m. to service time. Burial will be in Lawnridge Cemetery Rochelle. Memorials in her memory may be made to Rochelle Wildlife and Conservation Club and Rochelle Senior Citizen Center.
