Delmont "Del" D. Schuler Jr., 54, of Rochelle, passed away Feb. 17, 2007 at St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, IL. He was born on August 19, 1952 in Rochelle the son of Dallas and Dorothy Copeland Schuler. He married Toni Schork Schuler in 1974. His passion for automobiles was exemplified by his ownership of Amoco Service Stations in Madison WI and then in Rochelle with Schuler's Standard Station for nearly 2 decades. In leisure, Del was found near the water boating, fishing, and camping.
He is preceded in death by his mother: Dorothy Schuler, step mother: Christine Schuler, and daughter: Dallas Rae.
He is survived by his

Tracy (Jeff) Jones of Davis Junction
son: Travis Schuler of Naperville
father: Dallas (Marlene) Schuler of Rochelle
4 grandchildren: Garrett, Nathan, and Katelyn Burdin and Hailey Jones

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 22, 2007 at the Rochelle United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jon Hutchison officiating.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5 - 8 PM at the Unger Horner Funeral Home, 400 N 6th St., Rochelle.
In Lieu of Flowers, a memorial has been established.
