Dennis B. Iverson, 63, of Rochelle, IL, passed away on Monday June 2, 2008 at Alden-Park Strathmoor in Rockford, IL. He was born on May 13, 1945 in Rugby, N. D., the son of Melvin J. And Helen (Sitter) Iverson. Dennis was a punch press operator for Roper Whitney in Rockford prior to his disability in 1991. He married Nona Collins on December 3, 2006 in Rochelle, she preceded him in death on February 23, 2008. He was also preceded by his parents, a brother: Leonard Iverson, and a daughter: Lisa Iverson.
Survivors include 3 step sons: John (Karen) Collins, Bret (Melissa) Collins and Kevin Collins; nephew: William Iverson and 2 nieces; Susan Iverson and Sarah Iverson.
Graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at the Lawnridge Cemetery.
Unger-Horner Funeral Home assisted the family with cremation rites.
