Dolores "Lola" Torres 68 of Rochelle died Sunday Dec. 21, 2008 at Rochelle Gardens Care Center. She was born March 15, 1940 in Mexico, the daughter of Bernardino and Josefina Madrid Lucero. She married Alfredo Torres Feb. 12, 1967 in Willmington, CA, he preceded her on Nov. 17, 2000. Also preceded by 2 daughters: Yolanda and Luz and a son Alfredo Jr. And 2 brothers Vincente and Miguel and 1 sister Margarita.

Dolores had been employed by Avery in Rochelle and was a member of St. Patrick Church in Rochelle.

Survived by 2 daughters Silvia (Daniel) Valdivia of Rochelle and Veronica Rodriguez of Rochelle.
Brother Amalio (Maria) Lucero of El Paso, TX and sister Guadalupe Tiscareno of El Paso, TX

Many nieces and nephews including a special niece Lorena Tiscareno.
5 Grandchildren: Joseph Michael, Mario, Miranda, Jasmil and Susanna.

Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. on Tues. Dec. 23rd at St Patrick Catholic Church with Father David Peck. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to funeral at St. Patrick Church.

Burial will be at St Patrick Cemetery in Rochelle.

Memorial fund has been established.
