Donald "FROG" Eugene Foltz passed away peacefully on Friday, February 12, 2016 surrounded by his family. He was born August 5, 1947 in Memphis TN, son of Cecil Edward and Artie V. (Williams) Foltz. Don married Judy Mear on June 4, 1977 in Dekalb, IL. He worked at Northern Illinois University until he retired as a custodial tech.
Don enjoyed bowling, fishing, and golfing. He loved spending time having get togethers and deck parties with his family and friends.
He was preceded by his parents: Cecil and Artie Foltz, grandson Adam Brown and granddaughter Patsy Burright.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Foltz, brothers: Ed Foltz and Dave (Donna) Foltz; daughters: Donna Rivera, Sheila (Paul) Burright, Brenda (Brett) Herrmann; sons: Rex Foltz, Jim (Lisa) Mear and Ron Mear; grandchildren: Ben Foltz, Cruz (Candice) Rivera, Brandon Larue, Alyssa Burright, Danielle Burright, Georgia Ann, Amara, Austin and Michael Foltz, Nikki (Allen) Parks, Tyler (Danielle) VanKirk, Colton Vankirk, Kris (Beth) Mear, Brandon (Meagan) Mear, Kolby (Shelly) Mear, Nickolas and Christian Rodriguez, Ethan Brockwell and Jacob Mear; great grandchildren: Hazel, Archer, Cecilia, Robert, Evan, Kieran, Havik, Madelyn, Aubriana, Cory and Kael; many nieces and nephews; and special friends: Kent and Sue Chalus and Ruth Ann Matheson.

The visitation will be held from 5 - 8 pm on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at the Unger Horner Funeral Home, 400 N 6th St., Rochelle. Funeral service will be on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 10:00 am at the Unger Horner Funeral Home with Chaplain Judy Williams officiating. burial will follow at Lawnridge Cemetery.
