Donald E. Stultz, 86, of Rochelle, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away on Wed. Nov. 23, 2011 at Rochelle Community Hospital. He was born on Feb. 5, 1925 in Ogle County, IL; the son of Lee Kenneth and Hazel Marguerite (Lumsden) Stultz. Don married Harriett Rogene Ebens on Jan. 11, 1947 in Mt. Morris, IL. During WWII, he served in the U. S. Army and memberships include the VFW Post 3878. Donald worked previously for Cable News in Mt. Morris. He then was manager of the meat department for National Tea, and the Market Basket and was later employed by Swift and Co. where he retired in 1980. He was preceded in death by son: Dennis E. Stultz on Sept. 7, 2003.

Survivors include his wife Harriett of Rochelle; sons: Doug (Flora) Stultz and David (Mary) Stultz both of Rochelle; and 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home with Rev. Cindy Marino. Visitation from 4 - 7 pm on Monday, Nov. 28th at Unger-Horner. Burial at Trinity Memory Gardens with Military Services by Eastern Lee-Ogle Honor Guard. Memorials to Alzheimer's Association.
