Obituary
Donna V. McPherson, 72 of Ashton, IL, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 18, 2009 at her home.
She was born on March 12, 1937 in Rochelle, the daughter of LaVerne and Flossie (Shook)
Vanstone. She married Gene McPherson on June 9, 1967 in Creston, IL and he preceded
her in death on Oct.17, 1989. She was also preceded by her parents: LaVerne and Flossie Vanstone. Donna was previously employed by Dixon Food Center.
Survivors include two daughters: Barb (Bob) Judd of Moscow Mills, MO and Joanne Krug of Algonquin, IL. Three sons: Steve (Kathy) Krug of Downers Grove, IL, Ken (Ivy) Krug
of Elmhurst, IL and Dave (Michelle) McPherson of Bloomington, IL. Sisters: Norma Snyder of Rochelle, IL, Rita (Roger) Heller of Rochelle,IL, and Deb (Bud) McIntire of Conowindo, MD. Brother: LaVerne (Carol) Vanstone of WI; Grandchildren: Shawn, Samantha, Rebecca, Ashley, Zach, and Blake.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, Oct. 23rd at the Ashton United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Thursday, Oct. 22nd at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N 6th St., Rochelle. A memorial has been established to the Ashton United Methodist Church. Burial at Woodlawn Cemetery in Creston, IL.
