Donna S. Metcalf, 75 of Rochelle, IL, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011 at her home with her family by her side. She was born on Feb. 11, 1936 in Hazard, KY the daughter of Charles and Zola (Osborne) Campbell. On Sept. 15, 1965, Donna S. Campbell married her one true love, John Wesley Metcalf Jr. in Hazard, KY and he preceded her in death on Sept. 21, 2002. She was also preceded by sisters: Jacqulene Boggs and Betty Crookshanks, both of Hazard, KY.

Survivors include 2 sons: Chris (Rachel) Metcalf of Davis Junction, IL and Chuck (Lora) Metcalf of Rochelle, IL; daughter: Tammy McGuire of Hindman, KY; grandchildren: Destany R. Metcalf; and Colin J. Metcalf; sisters: Nora (Donald) Hughes of Hazard, KY, Patricia (Roger) Cornett of Lexington, KY, and Glenna (Lon) Henbrickson of Hazard, KY; brothers: Charles (Gail) Campbell, James M. (Wanda) Campbell and Gary (Nora Gail) Campbell all of Hazard, KY; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at the Church of Christ in Hillcrest, IL on Friday, Aug. 26, 2011 at
10:00 AM. Visitation at Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle, IL on Thursday, Aug. 25th from 4 to 7 PM . Burial at Lawnridge Cemetery. A memorial has been established.
