Rochelle

Dorene Kay Golt, 64, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024 at Javon Bea Medical Center in Rockford, Illinois.  Dorie was born on April 14, 1960, the daughter of Kenneth D. and Mary (Rhodes) Johnson.  On October 1, 1996, she married Michael B. Golt in Jamaica. Dorie enjoyed golfing and shooting pool with Mike.

Dorie is survived by her husband, Mike; her mother, Mary Johnson; two brothers: Doug (Kelly) Johnson and Kyle (Lisa) Johnson all of Rochelle; several nieces and nephews and many friends.  She was preceded in death by her father, Kenny Johnson on April 7, 2016.

A celebration of Dorie's life will be held at a later date.  Cremation care has been provided by the Unger-Horner Funeral Home.  Burial will be at Lawnridge Cemetery in Rochelle.  Visit www.ungerhorner.com to sign the online guest book.
