Rochelle

Dorie M. Hinrichs, 44, passed away Friday, January 9, 2015 at her home in Rochelle. Dorie was born on June 1, 1970 in Rochelle, IL to Alvin and Penny (Brown) Lee. She married Brian K. Hinrichs on June 15, 1996 in Rochelle at Full Gospel Fellowship of Flagg Center. Dorie loved Jesus with all of her heart. She enjoyed Christian music and attending Women of Faith Conferences with her sisters in Christ. Scrapbooking was a favorite hobby of Dorie's. She was a person that would run into a friend just about everywhere she went. She will be greatly missed by all who were privileged to know her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Penny, and step-father, Butch Everest, grandparents: Grantford Ray and Anita Madlyn (Sweet) Brown and Mose Alfred and Elsie Vivian (Welton) Lee.

Dorie is survived by her loving husband, Brian, son, Cody (Jaimee) Hinrichs, her first grandchild due in July, father, Robert (Li Anne) Lee of Layton, Utah, three sisters: Nikie (Joe) Harper of Tremonton, Utah, Misty Lee of Sterling, IL and twin sister, Dodie (Pall) Hathwell of Gig Harbor, WA; brother, Joseph (Nicole) Lee of Sycamore, IL.

The memorial service will be 5:00 P.M., Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Crossroads Community Church, 3301 N. Rt. 251, Rochelle with Pastor Jeff Fathauer officiating. The visitation will be just prior to the service from 4:00 to 5:00 P.M at the church. A memorial has been established to the family.
