Doris "Elaine" Batty, 101, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Elaine was born May 8, 1913 in Fairdale, IL to William H. and Maude E. (Shadford) Yeager. She married Gilbert H. Batty on February 21, 1937 in Rockford, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2001, grandson, Bradley Thomas Reishus, and son-in-law, Bert Bearrows.

Elaine is survived by her son, Dr. Rick (Judy) Batty of Madison, WI, two daughters: Kay (Gene) Reishus of Batavia, IL and Doris Bearrows of Chetek, WI; 10 grandchildren: John Batty, Rachel Batty, Nicole (Chris) Kozlovsky, Todd (Fatima) Bearrows, Cheri (Dale) Dixon, Christina (Josh) Swartz, Paul Bearrows, Dr. Scott (Carolyn) Reishus, Jeff (Terri) Reishus and Craig (Katie) Reishus and 17 great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, June 29, 2014 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle with Pastor Dave Rogula officiating. The visitation will be from 1:00 to 1:45 prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at the Porter Cemetery, Monroe Center, IL. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
