Doris L. Friday 91 of Rochelle, IL died Friday Oct. 8, 2010 in Ogle County Serenity Home, Oregon, IL. She was born March 13, 1919 in Ogle County, IL the daughter of Robert W. and Iva (Pearl) Gibson. Doris married Wilbur K. Friday on Feb. 19, 1938 in Ogle County. He preceded her on Nov. 9, 1993.
Also preceded by a Grandson Rob Friday on June 14, 2009 and sisters Marion, Marguerite, Garnet and twins Ella and Eloise. Brother Robert and infant brother John.

Survived by son Roger (Candy) Friday of Rochelle and daughter Joann Adamson of Rochelle. Grandchildren Debi (Mark) Klouse, Craig (Roselie) Adamson, Scott (Wendy) Friday. Great-grandchildren Todd Adamson, Amber Klouse, Jake Simmons, Briana Adamson, Branden Adamson, Amanda Moreland, Matthew Ames, Allyson (Jeremy) Friday-Bagg, Josh Blumenthal, Amber Phelps, Christine Morgan and Hogan Friday. Great-great-grandson Jace.

Funeral services will be held on Monday Oct. 11, 2010, 1:00 p.m. at Unger-Horner Funeral Home, with visitation from 11:30 to service time on Monday. Burial will be in Trinity Memory Gardens.
Memorial fund has been establish to Ogle County Hospice.
