Obituary
Dorothea K. Carlson, age 98, of Rochelle, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2008
at Rochelle Community Hospital. She was born on Feb. 6, 1910 in Lee County, Illinois,
the daughter of John and Mary (Fassig) Schmall. Dorothea married Gordon C. Carlson and they owned and operated the Rochelle Laundry for many years. He preceded her in 1978.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Rochelle.
Survivors include a son: Phillip (Leslie Jean) Carlson of Rochelle; 2 granddaughters:
Susan Carlson and Debra Blackburn; and a great grandson: Kirk Carson Blackburn.
Visitation will be held at Unger-Horner Funeral Home on Thursday, May 1, 2008 from 5 to 8 P.M. . Graveside services will be held at Lawnridge Cemetery in Rochelle, on Friday May 2, 2008 at 11: A.M. Online guest book at www.ungerhorner.com Memorials can be made to American Heart Association
