Dorothy Rogene Blomberg, age 89, passed away on Saturday, March 24 2018 at her son's home in Dixon with her family at her side. She was born on June 20, 1928 in Rochelle to Martin and Anna (Rhoades) Thompson. Rogene married Donald D. Blomberg on January 16, 1947 and he preceded her on August 21, 2000. Rogene and Don Blomberg worked many years together at Blomberg Motors. Rogene is preceded in death by her parents.

Survived by her son, Barry (Donna) Blomberg of Dixon; two daughters: Linda (Mike) Pottinger of Rochelle, Cindy (Terry) Mace of St. James, MN; 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the Unger Horner Funeral Home, 400 N 6 ^th St., Rochelle with Rev. Rob Hamilton officiating.
