Dorothy Edna Cultra ,85, passed away Monday, December 24, 2018 at Alden Debes Nursing Home in Rockford. She was born June 27, 1933 in Rochelle, the daughter of Richard and Edna (Cross) Rowley. She married William Robert Cultra on November 28, 1953. He preceded her in death on April 15, 1993.

Dorothy is survived by three children, Mike (Sherri) Cultra of Rockford, Doug (Vanessa) Cultra of Cherry Valley, and Yvonne (Dennis) McBride of Rochelle; daughter-in-law, Lori Cultra of Springfield; thirteen grandchildren; and fourteen great- grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy is preceded in death by her son, Robert "Bob" Cultra; brother, Elmer Richard Rowley; and sister, Ruth Patterson.

A funeral service will take place at 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 28, 2018, at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 S. 6th St. in Rochelle with Pastor Gregory Cultra officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Flagg Center Cemetery.
