Dorothy "Sally" Jane Frye, 84 of Rochelle passed away Sat. July 16, 2011 in her home surrounded by her family. Sally was born in Rochelle, IL March 13, 1927 the daughter of John and Martha (Eckhardt) Baker. She attended RTHS. Sally married Roy E. Frye Jan. 17, 1948 in Rochelle IL. She was employed by Sears as an Accounting Clerk for 25 years. Sally was a member of the Rochelle United Methodist Church, Women of the Moose, and Eastern Star. She enjoyed swimming, shopping, playing cards, having lunch with friends, and caring for her family. Predeceased by a sister: Shirley (Cliff) Hansen; Brother: John "Duke" (Dorothy) Baker.

Survivors include her Husband Roy of Rochelle; sons: Steve (Jan) Frye of Concord, NC and Jeffrey Frye of Rochelle; daughters: Patty (Tom) Blickensderfer of Havelock, NC, and Tina (Charlie) Musselman of Rochelle, IL. Grandchildren: Jennifer Waters, Michelle Frye, Sarah Reynolds, Amanda Blickensderfer, Amy Knight, Tony and Jeff Musselman. Great-Grandchildren: Jaiden Strobel, Cailyn Metzger, Summer and Steven Reynolds, Katie and Julia Knight, Brandt and Makayla Waters. Brother: Eugene (Virgie) Baker, and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Services for Sally are going to be held at Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th Street, Rochelle, IL on Wed. July 20, 2011 at 10:00 AM. Visitation will be held Tues. July 19, from 4 to 7 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial may be given to the Ogle County Hospice, P.O. Box 462, Oregon, IL 61061.
