Obituary
Dorothy Lillian Kadlec passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at the age of 91.
Dorothy was born to parents, Paul and Minnie Peisert, on August 15, 1926 in Saugatuck, MI. She married Steven John Kadlec in 1952, and the couple had two daughters: Dottie and Patti. Dorothy worked at Downers Grove South High School for 40 years where she was well known for her smiles and generosity.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Steve; her daughter, Dottie; her parents, Paul and Minnie; her sister, Myrtle Pacak; brothers: Clarence and Paul Peisert; and great grandson, Brady O'Brien.
Dorothy leaves behind her daughter, Patti Murphy; son-in-law, Tom; and her grandchildren: Michelle (DJ) O'Brien, Meghan (Dylan) Johnson and Tommy (Megan) Murphy.
Dorothy will be remembered as having a heart of gold. She was a lover of all animals, and enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, watching Wheel of Fortune, playing board games and doing word searches.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 17 at St. Patrick Parish, 400 Cedar St, Saint Charles, IL at 10:30 am with a private burial.
