Dorothy Ellen Mann, 91, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Generations at Neighbors in Byron, Illinois. Dorothy was born on August 17, 1929 to Henry and Emma (Lane) Cook in Gideon, Missouri. In 1954, she married Eddie E. Burton in Silva, Missouri, who preceded her in death on September 30, 1981. She worked for many years and retired from Eaton Corporation in Rochelle.

In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy is predeceased by her grandson, Ricky Burton and great grandson, Nathaniel Burton.

Dorothy is survived by her son: Eddie Burton, Jr., of Rochelle; brother, John Cook; sister, Lola Calvert; four grandchildren: Terry (Anna) Burton, Larry Burton, Mellissa (Matt) Anderson and Bryan Burton and 11 great grandchildren.
