Obituary
Dorothy M. Sorrenson 95 formerly of West Brooklyn and Ashton, IL died Sunday March 6, 2011 at Franklin Grove Nursing Home. She was born on July 1, 1915 in West Brooklyn, IL to John and Sarah (Morris) Sorrenson. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother: William. Memberships include Reynolds United Methodist Church, Fellowship of Christian Women and was active in the Hobby Club.
Survivors include several cousins; and her close friends: Rev. Al and Linda Meyer, and Verle and the late Ruth Burhenn, all of Ashton, Katherine and Bill Foster of The Villages, FL, and Gilbert and Celia Haub of West Brooklyn IL.
Graveside services will be held Monday, March 14, 2011 at Oakwood Cemetery in LaSalle, IL
with Rev. Alan Meyer at 10:30A.M. Memorials can be made to Reynolds United Methodist Church.
Arrangements by Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle.
