Dorthy E. "Doris" Emily Kazort, 92, of Rochelle, IL; passed away on Monday, Aug. 3, 2009 at
Oregon Health Care Center. She was born on Oct. 3, 1916 in Berry Township, Wayne County, IL, the daughter of Fred and Nettie (Leathers) Wiggins. Doris married Orval Kazort on Oct. 15, 1933 in Wayne City, IL.. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Dorthy was a previous resident of Rochelle for many years where she resided with her husband, Orval, until his passing in 1992. She was also preceded by a brother; Donald Wiggins; daughter: Judith Ann Allison, and two sisters: Thelma Sheldon and Dorothy Ferguson.

She is survived by her children, James C. Kazort of Rochelle, Jean (Charles) Hammil of Milton, WI and Linda L.(Harry) Linden of Yorkville, IL; son-in-law, Larry Allison, of DeKalb,
grandchildren: Katharine (Timothy) Linden, Karen (Ronald) Cawthon, David Abbott, Julie
(Michael) Wenger, Janet (Andrew) Glocker, Brian (Lynette) Hammil, Lisa Allison, Lora (Rob)
Garland, and Lana (Jason) Berdeaux, she also leaves 19 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren and several Nieces.

Services will be held 11:00 Friday, August 7, 2009, at Unger-Horner Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Allison. Visitation one hour before service at10:00 AM, Friday. Burial will be at Trinity Memory Gardens. Memorials to Unity Hospice.
