Doskie L. Williams, 87 of Rochelle, IL; passed away on Wed. June 20, 2012 at OSF Medical Center in Rockford, IL. She was born on March 28, 1925 in Cherry Valley, AR to Dorcey T. and Cordelia E. (Davis) Rhodes. Doskie was married to Maxwell L. Williams on November 8, 1941 in Vanndale, Arkansas and he preceded her in 1990. She was also preceded by her parents: 3 brothers: Troy, John Thomas and K. L. "Dusty" Rhodes; 2 sisters: Mayde Wolfe and Cleo "Billie" Parker and a grandson: Mark Jason Williams. Doskie enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, making quilts for her family, and she especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include: sons: Donald (Carolynn) Williams of Rochelle, Dennis (Laura) Williams of Ashton; grandchildren: Michael (Angie) Williams, Ryan (Brandy) Williams and Dan (Danielle) Williams; great grandchildren: Nicole, Megan, Rowan, Madigan, Garrett, Riley, Maggie and Joleigh Williams and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle on Friday, June 22, 2012
at 10:00 AM, with Chaplain Judy Williams. Visitation Thursday, June 21st at Unger-Horner from 4 to 7PM. Burial at Trinity Memory Gardens. A memorial is being established.
