Douglas W. Capaul, 73, formerly of Rochelle, passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2020 at Central Dupage Hospital.

Douglas Wayne Capaul entered this world on January 20, 1948. He was the son of Jean (nee Patton) and Fred Capaul. Both preceded him in death. He had one brother, Phillip, who also preceded him in death. The family resided in Polo, Illinois for many years.

Doug served in the United States Army from May 16, 1969 until Jan 23, 1972.

He moved to Rochelle, IL where he worked for a number of years for Caron International and then for Northern Illinois University.

In his later years, he resided at Bethany Health Care in DeKalb, IL.

Doug was a very kind man. He will be greatly missed.
