Duane Earl Tilton, age 75, of Creston, IL, passed away on Friday, Nov. 7, 2008 at his home. Duane was born the son of George and Cora (Bell) Tilton on Dec. 22, 1932 in Rochelle, IL. He Married Diane Haws on April 23, 1980 in Sycamore, IL. Duane was employed at Swift and CO. For 19 years, and was a custodian for NIU for 15 years. Duane also served in the United States Air Force from 1953 - 1957. He was preceded by his parents, a Daughter: Denise, and Son Kevin.

Duane is survived by, his wife, Diane, five children, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. One sister: Leatha Bartkus, Three: Brother-in-Laws, and Three: Sister-in-Laws.

A private grave side service with Military Honors provided by V.F.W. Post 3878 of Rochelle is to be held.
