Edna I. Brown, 93, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2014 in Belvidere, Illinois. Edna was born August 2, 1921 to Ervin Ray and Bertha M. (Noble) Rickard in Mason County, West Virginia. She married Fred A. Brown in 1940. Edna was preceded in death by her husband in March of 1980, four sisters and one brother.
Edna is survived by two sons: David (Kelly) of Belvidere, IL and Joe (Judy) of Rockford, IL; her sister, Betty Rasmussen, of Rochelle, 5 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
The visitation will be from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M., Saturday, August 16, 2014 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. A graveside service will follow the visitation at North Clinton Cemetery in Waterman, IL at 4:00 P.M.
