Edward Lullus Fenwick, 71, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2014 at Rochelle Rehab. Edward was born May 7, 1943 in Dixon to Joseph Lullus and Mary Kathryn (Friel) Fenwick. He graduated from RTHS in 1962 and attended Rockford Business School. Ed lived and worked in the Rochelle community throughout his life. He attended St. Patrick's Catholic Church, as his faith was at the center of his life. Ed enjoyed his membership as a Knights of Columbus. He was a friend to all as he enjoyed talking about his family, politics and sports. Ed was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed the Rochelle Hubs, Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bears, and Notre Dame. He'll be remembered for his passion for his family, especially his nieces and nephews who could do no wrong in his eyes. The family would like to thank the staff at Healthcare West for their love and care for Ed. Their compassion and relationships with Ed will not be forgotten. Edward is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary Fenwick.

He is survived by five brothers, Jack Fenwick of Hudson, WI, Jim (Pam) Fenwick of Roscoe, Tom (Jan) Fenwick of Brodhead, WI, Everett "Buck" (Jan) Fenwick of Brodhead, WI, and Steve (Dawn) Fenwick of Brodhead, WI; four sisters, Karen (Spencer) Hayden of Rochelle, Kathy (Dan) Harper of Rochelle, Therese Fenwick of Winchester, VA, and Joyce (Larry) Groenhagen of Oregon; 26 nieces and nephews, and 29 great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be from 1-3 P.M. Sunday, December 28, 2014 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle.

Funeral service will be 10:30 A.M. Monday, December 29, 2014 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 244 Kelley Drive, Rochelle where visitation will take place from 9:30-10:15 A.M. Inurnment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery in Maytown, IL at a later date. The family requests memorials to RTHS Education Foundation or Serenity Hospice and Home.
