Elaine M. Musselman, 90, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018 in DeKalb, Illinois. Elaine was born on February 24, 1927 to Olaf and Sena (Willms) Nesheim in Ogle County near Monroe Center, IL. She married John Glen Musselman on January 6, 1949 in Rochelle. He preceded her in death on July 29, 2005. Additionally, she is predeceased by two brothers: Robert Nesheim and Walter Nesheim; and two sisters: Esther Weinreich and Martha Priegnitz.

Elaine is survived by her three children: Marianne (Dennis) Tomlinson of Geneva, IL, John (Deb) Musselman of Oregon and Steve (Tina) Musselman of Rochelle; two brothers: Norman (June) Nesheim of Gainsville, FL and Malden Nesheim of Ithica, NY; sister, Ruth Wakeland of Vero Beach, FL; seven grandchildren: Andrew (Sarah) Tomlinson, Carrie Tomlinson, Laura (Andrew) Thurston, Nicholas (Stephanie) Musselman, Jarod (Katie) Kimble, Tony (Kelly) Musselman, Jeff (Jenny) Musselman and nine great grandchildren: Charlotte, Dylan, Parker, Jordan, Aubrey, Calli, Brooke, Jack and Charlie.

The memorial visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. The memorial service will follow at 11:00 with Pastor David Rogula officiating. Following the service, inurnment will be at Lawnridge Cemetery in Rochelle.
