Eleanor E. Pollard, 94, formerly of Lindenwood, IL, passed away Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012 at her daughter's house in Ashton, IL. She was born on June 19, 1918 in Lindenwood, IL to Elmer and
Zillah (Holmes) Stocking. Eleanor married Harry A. Pollard on Feb. 26, 1938 in Winnebago, IL and he preceded her on May 8, 2001. She was also preceded by her parents: 2 brothers: Howard and Elsworth Stocking; and an infant daughter: Kathleen. Memberships include Lindenwood Union Church.
Survivors include 2 daughters: Audrey (Jerry) Schabacker of Ashton, IL and Pamela (Terry)
Jenkins of Polo, IL; grandchildren: Wendy (Bruce) Batty, Nikki (Horst) Meima, Corey (Christine) Jenkins, and Carrie Woodin; 10 great grandchildren: Tyler , Lauren and Braiden Jenkins, Taylor, Tristin and Trevin Woodin, Samantha Meima, Hannah Batty, and Nevaeh and Kaci Hall.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle with Rev. Les and Rev. Pat McClelland officiating.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5 - 7 PM at Unger-Horner.
Burial at Trinity Memory Gardens. Memorials to Lindenwood Union Church or Passages Hospice.
