Elizabeth M. (Lang) Lazier, died in Rockford Memorial Hospital on 4/14/12. She has been a resident of Medina Manor in Durand for several years prior to her recent illness.
Elizabeth was born September 20, 1925 to Fred and Helen Doyle Lang of Creston. She attended Creston School, and graduated from the high school in 1942. She lived in Creston until her marriage to Edward Lazier of Rochelle in 1949 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Rochelle. Edward died in 1978.
She was employed at Caron Spinning for many years. After her retirement, she lived in Janesville and Brodhead, WI, before moving to Medina Manor. She is predeceased by her parents, a sister and brother-in-law, and a nephew. She is survived by a brother, Clarence "Pat" (Helen) Lang, nieces: Peggy Lee, Donna (Tom) Murphy, Jeff (Nancy) Lang, Doyle Lang, and Mari (Mike) Ward. Many great nieces, nephews, and loving friends will also miss her.
A funeral mass will be at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Rochelle with Rev. Steven Lange officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral, beginning at 9:30 AM.
Burial at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery.
