Elna A. Skinner, age 98, passed away Thursday morning, May 9, 2019, at Farmer City Rehab in Farmer City, IL. She was born in 1921 to Fred and Effie (Farr) Dummer in Davis Junction, IL. She graduated from Rochelle Township High School and the Rockford School of Business. She married Harry Jay Skinner in December, 1942. He passed away in October, 1990. She was a long-time employee of Caron Spinning Co., and recently inducted into the Rochelle Bowling Hall of Fame.

She is survived by her daughters: Reva Ann Moore of Rolling Meadows, IL, Karen Heinrich of Champaign, IL and Crystal (Ray) Heinrich of Champaign, IL; grandchildren: Michael (Marcy) Moore of Pembroke Pines, FL, Brian (Ginger) Moore of Oak Point, TX, Mark (Angie) Heinrich of Robins, IA, Kevin Heinrich of Murrieta, CA, Jeff (Kristin) Heinrich of Janesville, WI and Nicole Heinrich of Elk Grove Village, IL; great-grandchildren: T.J. (Cristie) Moore of Boynton Beach, FL, Megan and Jacob Heinrich of Robins, IA, Isaac and Harry Heinrich of Janesville, WI, and step-great grandchildren: Chase (Jess) Lovell and Lauren (Tyler) Franco. Also surviving are siblings: Donna (Bob) Dietrich of Mt. Morris, IL, and Wayne (Janet) Dummer of Lindenwood, IL, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters: Marjorie (Charles) Gustafson and Veda (Matt) DeCourcey and brother, Wendell (Ruth) Dummer.

Visitation will be at the Rochelle United Methodist Church, 709 4th Ave, Rochelle on Wednesday, May 15 at 9:30 am, funeral service will follow at 10:30 am with Pastor Rob Hamiliton officiating. Interment will be at Trinity Memory Gardens in Rochelle. Memorials may be made to the Rochelle Methodist Church in memory of Harry and Elna Skinner.
