Erika Woodall, 87, passed away Friday, August 12, 2016 in Franklin Grove, Illinois. Erika was born on September 26, 1928 to Fredrick and Marie (Kirzingeer) Rinkleib in Munich, Germany. She married Walter Atlee Woodall on June 2, 1953 in Saint Nazaire, France. He preceded her in death on December 27, 2005. She worked for Del Monte for many years.

Erika is survived by her four sons: Josef (Burna) Woodall of Wesley, AR, James Woodall of Bunker, MO, Robin (Brenda) Woodall of Ashton and Keith Woodall of Westley, AR; seven grandchildren: Angela (Jose) Villarreal, Christopher (Bridget) Woodall, Olivia VonKaenel, Samantha, Danny and Sarah Woodall and Rodney Brasfield and five great-grandchildren: Erika, Elizabeth, Ava, Luke and Grant.

The visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M., Monday, August 15, 2016 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. The funeral will be at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 16 at the funeral home. Cremation rites will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
