Eva V. Summers, 77 of South Beloit, IL, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010 at
Regional Hospital in Beloit, WI. She was born on Oct. 23, 1932 in Mt. Vernon, IL, to Ernst and Katherine (Wilmore) Augustson. Eva married Charles Linden Summers who preceded her in death after 55 years of marriage, on Aug. 16, 2008. She was also preceded by her parents and a brother: Arvid Augustson. Eva was a loving mother, grandmother and homemaker. Memberships include the Lincoln Avenue Church of God in Dixon, IL and she had served as Church Treasurer for many years. Eva Summers was a devoted, wife, mother, and friend. She had a gift of making everyone feel special. She had a servants heart and her desire was for everyone to be happy. She loved the Lord and was a prayer warrior for all in need. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include 2 sons: Charles Linden (Peggy) Summers Jr. of Sterling, IL and Arvid Lester
(Lisa) Summers of Paducah, KY; 2 daughters: Janis G. (Neil) Shaw of South Beloit, IL and
Katherine J. (Randy) Beach of Kings, IL;15 grandchildren: A. J., Trevor, Penny, Rebecca, Robert, Kayla, Evan, Valerie, Melissa, Philip, Tyler, Candace, Andrew, Aaron and Alec; 7 great grandchildren: Kierstyn, Devon, Jonathan, Ellery, Charlie, Berkeley and Makenna Lin; 2 brothers: Albert Augustson and Luke (Joy) Augustson; and a sister-in-law: Lois Augustson.

Services will be held at Lincoln Avenue Church of God in Dixon, IL on Monday, Oct. 25, 2010 at10:00 AM with Rev. Steve Casey and Rev. Howard Wiseman. Visitation at Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle, IL on Sunday, Oct. 24th from 2 to 5 PM. Burial at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Dixon, IL Memorials to Lincoln Avenue Church of God.
