Eva Janet (Supancic) Gobtop-Stolt, 61, of Algonquin, formerly of Rochelle, passed away Monday, October 25, 2021, at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington. Eva was born September 23, 1960 in Rochelle, the daughter of James "Spud" and Jeanett (Supancic) Bryant. She married Robert Stolt on October 10, 2010 in St. Charles, IL.

Eva was a graduate of Rochelle Township High School. She obtained her bachelor's degree and master's degree from Northern Illinois University.

Eva is survived by her husband, Robert Stolt, of Algonquin; father James "Spud" Supancic of Rochelle; mother, Jeanett Bryant of Rochelle; sisters: Regina "Gina" (Brian) Van Hise of Rochelle, Bunny (Steve) Miller of Rochelle, and Susie (Harlow) Jones of Kentucky; sisters-in-law: Peggy Knapp of Arizona and Bette (Jack) McGrath of Brier, WA; nieces and nephews: Liz McGrath, Julie McGrath Nimmergut, Eric (Kara) Van Hise, Kyle Van Hise, Shane Miller, Samantha Miller, Katelyn "Katie" Van Hise, and Owen Miller; and a special aunt and friend, Donna Amburgey.

A memorial service will be at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, November 6, 2021, at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St. in Rochelle with Dr. Ray Lechner officiating. Memorial visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Masks are required and social distancing guidelines should be followed.
