FLOSSIE V. VANSTONE, age 93 of Rochelle died on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at the Rochelle Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center from complications of an earlier automobile accident. She was born on January 31, 1914 in Arcola, Illinois, the daughter of Samuel and Carrie Dove Shook. She graduated from the Creston High School and then from the Rochelle Township High School. Flossie married LaVerne Vanstone on July 22, 1933, he preceded her in death on August 30, 1974. She was a member of the Creston United Methodist Church and worked for over 16 years as the Cook for the Creston Grade School retiring in 1980.

20 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren
and several nieces.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, February 24, 2007 at the Unger Horner Funeral Home, 400 N 6th St., Rochelle with the Pastor Judy Sherk and Pastor Judy Williams officiating.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 4 - 7 PM.

Memorial to the Ogle County Hospice Association or the Hub City Senior Center.

Burial at Woodlawn Cemetery.
