Frances E. Clark, 84, went home to be with the Lord in the presence of her loving family Sunday, November 15, 2015 in Sycamore, Illinois. Frances was born June 1, 1931 to John Floyd and Ludie M. (Sandlin) Stanford in Sulligent, Alabama. She married E.J. "Gene" Clark on February 7, 1963 in Rockford, IL. He preceded her in death on November 14, 1997. Frances worked as a beautician for many years. She is also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Sherman and Thurman "Henry" Stanford and two sisters: Opal Stanford and Virginia Purdy.

Frances is survived by two children: Steve Clark of Rochelle and Peggy Mullins; one brother, Lloyd (Patty) Stanford of Rockford; four sisters: Annette (Joe) Bickerstaff of Birmingham, AL, Sue (Bud) Johnson of Riverside, CA, Barb (Mike) Lee of Kirkland, IL and Carolyn (Jim) Suhr of Kirkland, IL; and five grandchildren: Natalie Clark, Robin (Brian) Raddatz, Billy Willcox, Tasha (Jeff) Robison and Roy (Stephanie) Stout.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 A.M., Friday, November 20, 2015 at the First Baptist Church, 810 Woolf Ct, Rochelle with Pastor Doug Cowan officiating. The visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M., Thursday, November 19 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. The burial will follow the service at the Flagg Center Cemetery.
