FRANCES "FRANNIE" TYLER, age 73, of Steward died on Friday, June 26, 2009 at the Van Matre Health South Rehabilitation Hospital. She was born on February 27, 1936 in Risco, Missouri, the daughter of J. Welton and Maude P. Taylor Scott. Frances married C. J. Tyler on June 7, 1955 in Poplar Bluff, MO, he preceded her in death on January 12, 1989. She worked at the Shabbona Health Care Center prior to retiring. Member of the Harvest Baptist Church, Hillcrest. She is also preceded in death by her sister: Joyce Hale and sister in law: Betty Scott.

Survivors include her 2 sons: Carl Joseph (Sue) Tyler Jr., of Rochelle
Kevin (Clairisa) Tyler of Rochelle
daughter: Tamara Tyler of Wilmington, DE
2 brothers: Delbert Scott and Charles Scott both of Poplar Bluff, MO
5 grandchildren: Angie Rosenbaum, Jennifer (Mike) Harden, Adam Tyler, Matthew Tyler and Nicole Greenfield.

Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at the Unger Horner Funeral Home, 400 N 6th St., Rochelle, IL with the Rev. Duane Boehm officiating.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4 - 6 pm at Unger Horner.

Burial at the Brooklyn Cemetery in Compton.
