Francesca Dapiran, age 93 of Rochelle, passed away on January 19, 2008 at the Hospice
Home in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born on Oct. 8, 1914 in Rovigno D'Istria, Italy the daughter
of Angelo and Andreanna (Dapiran) Tamburin. On Feb. 2, 1935, Francesca married Duilio
Dapiran in Paris, France and he preceded her on March 30, 1998. She had previously been
employed by Caron International and retired in 1978 and was a member of St. Patrick Catholic
Church.

Survivors include a daughter: Nerina (Robert) Dennis of Rochelle; 2 grandchildren: Camilla (Dale) Thompson of Ft. Wayne, IN and Dominic (Deb) Castor of Simpsonville, SC; a great
grandson: Lorne Thompson; 2 step grandchildren: Tamara (Alan) Martin of Rochelle and
Tom (Kari) Dennis of Hillbert, WI; and 6 step great grandchildren: Alexis and Madeline Martin.
and Brittney, Jarris, Collin, and Lidley Dennis.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008 at 10:00 AM with Father Vargas officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 AM on Thursday
prior to the service at St. Patrick Church. Burial will be at St. Patrick Cemetery. Memorials
can be made to the American Diabetes Foundation or to Ogle County Hospice.
