Obituary
Francis H. Maronde 90, of Rochelle died Wednesday April 9, 2008 at home. He was born May 5, 1917 in Franklin Grove, IL, the son of Archie and Anna Mae Maronde. Prior to retirement, he had been employed by the City of Rochelle. Francis married Jean Knight in 1948 in DeKalb, IL.
Memberships include the Rochelle United Methodist Church. He was preceded by his parents
and 2 sons: Donald and Richard LeRoy Maronde.
Surviving: wife Jean of Rochelle; 6 daughters: Sandra Braddock of Oregon, IL, Dianne (Lowell) Hatfield of Rochelle, Pat Maronde of Rochelle, Betty Jo (Bob) Collier of Jackson, MO, Mary (Steve) Otto of Rochelle, and Sharon Russell of Rochelle; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Services will be held at Unger-Horner Funeral Home on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Brett Todd. Visitation will be on Friday, April 11th, from 4 to 7 PM at Unger-Horner. A memorial has been established. Burial will be at Trinity Gardens in Rochelle.
