Frank "Adam" Herbert, 19, passed away Wednesday, October 18th, 2006. He was born January 26th, 1987 in Sarasota, Fl. Adam embraced his life with humor and courage. He was a 2005 graduate of Marcus High School in Flower Mound, TX. Adam was an avid football fan of the Chicago Bears; he also played minor league football as a wide receiver and safety for the Dallas Knights. Adam was a young man of great character, love,dignity and kindness.
Adam was a loving and devoted son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. He is survived by his mother, Nancy (Joseph) Burke; father, Mark Herbert; siblings, Jessica Herbert (Brian Chapman), Zachary (Angie) Herbert; grandparents, Patricia Herbert, Edward (Barbara) Burgett, Martha Heckman, and Donald (Barbara) Burke; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Adam is also survived by many extended family members and close friends. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Frank Herbert, Barbara Harrison, and James Heckman.
Adam will forever remain in our hearts. We love and miss him dearly.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, October, 23, 2006 at the First Presbyterian Church, Rochelle with the Rev. Dr. John Hamilton officiating.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 3 - 7:00 PM at the Unger Horner Funeral Home, 400 N 6th St., Rochelle.

A memorial has been established.

Burial will be at the Lawnridge Cemetery in Rochelle.
