Obituary
Frank Mattera, Jr., 82, of Jackson, GA., died September 5, 2007. Born April 27, 1925 in Rochelle the son of Frank and Maria Iocona Mattera. He was preceded in death by his wife Jeanie Beardin Mattera.
He was a former employee Whitcomb Locomotive in Rochelle, he fought in Normandy during WW II in the U.S.Army and owed and operated the 4 M's café with his wife Jeanie in Rochelle and Mattera's supper club in Shabbona, IL
He is survived by daughter Sandi (Mike) Reid of Jackson, GA and a son Frank Mattera III of Inverness, FL; grandchildren Michael Reid and Denesha Reid; 6 great grandchildren; and sister Antoinette Holloway of Lincoln, IL.
Family grave side services were held Monday, September 10, 2007 at Lawnridge Cemetery in Rochelle, Illinois with a military service provided by the V.F.W. Post 3878.
