Frederick P. Bartha, age 84, died on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at the Rochelle Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on November 9, 1927 in Naperville, IL, the son of Edward and Barbara Kauk Bartha. Fred married Barbara Galor on July 3, 1959 in Polo, IL. He Served in WWII in the US Army, and owned and operated Bartha Upholstery from 1952 until he retired in 1990. Member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers: John, Leo, William, and Bernard; and 3 sisters: Emma Simkins, Minnie Kunos, and an infant sister.

Survivors include his wife: Barbara of Rochelle; daughter: Fritzi Beardsley of Lee Center; sister: Carolyn Wiselke of Naperville; 4 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, March 2, 2012 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Rochelle with the Rev. Greg Hoffmann officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 10 to 11:00 AM prior to the funeral at St. Paul's. Burial at Naperville Cemetery, Naperville, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the St. Paul Lutheran Church.
