Fred W. Cederholm, 64, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2014 at St. Anthony's Hospital in Rockford, IL. Fred was born December 19, 1949 to Ted and Alice (Troope) Cederholm in DeKalb, IL. He attended school at Creston Grade School and graduated from Rochelle Township High School. He received his Bachelor and Masters Degree from the University of Illinois. He worked as a C.P.A. in Texas and Illinois. He is a baptized and confirmed member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Fred is a Creston Booster member. He was president of the Rochelle Kiwanis Club. He belonged to several organizations and held many offices in these.
Fred is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his aunt, Bertha Byro, and several cousins.
The funeral service will be 10:00 A.M., Thursday, June 26, 2014 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Creston with Pastor Ron Larson officiating. The visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 25 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. Burial will follow the service at Woodlawn Cemetery in Creston.
