Frederick J. Kingdon,95, of Rochelle died Tuesday Nov. 24, 2009 at home. He was born Feb. 10, 1914 in Dement Twp. the son of Frederick and Mary Woolcott Kingdon. He married Stella G. Oleson in Creston, IL on June 26, 1937. She preceded him on Nov. 26, 2008.

He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Creston, IL and was a life long area farmer.
Preceded by a brother Arthur and sisters Nellie Anderson and Anne Schnorr.

Survived by daughters Liz Weaver of Pheonix, AZ, Mary (Fred) Heal of Springfield, IL and Janet (Gene) Roinas of Creston, IL A sister Marion Dyer of Rochelle, IL. 10 Grandchildren: Tom Roinas, Tammy (Vic) Cotto, Tim (Carla) Roinas, Tracy (Scott) Langan, Kimberly (Greg) Barta, Lisa (Jeff) Bradbury, Jon Weaver, Jim Heal, Brad (Rum Perez) Heal, and Julie (Paul) Behrends and 21 Great Grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held on Sat. Nov. 28, 2009, 11:00 a.m. at St John's Lutheran Church
in Creston, with Rev. Ron Larson officiating. Inurnment will be at Lawnridge Cemetery at a later date. Memorials to Ogle County Hospice or to St. John Lutheran Church. Cremation rites were arranged by Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle.
