Gale Rednour, 67, went home to be with his Lord and Savior the evening of Thursday, June 3, 2021 at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison, WI surrounded by his loving family. Gale was born on September 15, 1953 to Donald and Orletha B. (Parsons) Rednour in DeKalb, Illinois. On September 28, 2013, he married Susan Elaine Sarauer at New Life Bible Church in Winnebago, IL. He was a dedicated employee of Averitt Trucking Company for many years.

His faith in Christ was extremely important to him. He was the rock of the family and enjoyed every minute he spent with them. Everything Gale did, he gave 150%. In his younger days, he was a body builder and still enjoyed working out. He also enjoyed shooting pool, horse shoes, Chinese checkers, fishing and gardening. He was known for his jokes and had a great laugh that will be missed by all.

Gale is survived by his wife, Susan of Pecatonica, IL; seven children: Crystal (Brian) Wakeley of Loves Park, IL, Abraham (Maddie) Rednour of Rochelle, IL, Monica Rednour of Loves Park, IL, Sy (Alyssa) Grahf of Holt, MI, Zach Grahf of Pecatonica, Mary (Steven) Hardt and Joe Grahf both of Winnebago, IL ; seven grandchildren: Kayla, Daisy, Peyton, Braelynn, Steven Jr., Declan and Reagan. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:45 A.M., Monday, June 7, 2021 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. The service will follow at 12:00 noon with Pastor Tim Spickler officiating. The burial will be at Union Cemetery in Lee, IL. Memorials may be in Gale's memory to New Life Bible Church.
