Gayla Denese Martin, age 59, loving wife and mother, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the Oregon Living and Rehab Center. She was born on October 16, 1958 in Nashville, Arkansas, the daughter of Henry C. and Hazel L. (Cates) Ezell. She worked as a Registered Nurse. Gayla married Jerdie William Martin on April 23, 1983 in Nashville, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Survived by her husband, Jerdie Martin, daughter, Shannon Martin both of Creston; 2 brothers: Larry (Kay) Ezell and Gary Ezell both of Mountain Home, Ark; 2 sisters: Janet (Andy) Frazier of Huntsville, TX, and Angie (Jeff) Kennedy of Ashdown, Ark; and one niece, Jessica Kennedy.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Monday, November 27, 2017 at the Unger Horner Funeral Home, 400 N 6 ^th St., Rochelle with Rev. Ken Lawson, Chaplain of Unity Hospice officiating. Visitation will be on Monday from 10 - 11:00 am prior to the funeral. Burial at Lawnridge Cemetery will follow cremation rites. Guest book at www.UngerHorner.com
