Obituary
Gene Lewis Friemuth 64 of Oregon IL, passed away at his home Monday Aug. 16 2010. Gene was born in Rockford IL. Sept. 26, 1945 the son of Warner and Esther Friemuth. Gene married Melody Ferge, Aug. 20, 1964 in Lindenwood, IL. She preceded him Sept. 7, 2002.
Gene worked for DuKane Precast for four years, and P.B.M. Concrete for 38 years. He was a Viet Nam Veteran serving in the U. S. Army.
Survivors include: Daughters Jodi (Randy) Otten of Chana, IL, and Tracie (Dustin) Popp of Lindenwood. Grandchildren: Taylor, Zachary, and Logan Popp; and Dane Otten.
Funeral services will he held at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, Friday, August 20th at 10:30 A.M. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5to 7 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials to the VFW Post 3878 in Rochelle. Burial at Trinity Memory Gardens, with Military Rites given by Rochelle V.F.W. Post 3878.
