Genena Marie Gwinn, 50, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at her home in Rochelle, Illinois. Genena was born on December 11, 1969 to David and Lillian (Marcum) Gwinn in Chicago, IL.

Genena is survived by two children: Richard "Ricky" (Paige Lonidier) Hobbs, Jr. and Johnny Hopper both of Rochelle; sister, Culeen Hobbs of Rochelle and five granddaughters: Lexi Hobbs, Ellie Hopper, Mila Hopper, Kendall Hopper and Avea Hobbs. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Sarah Hopper and two grandbabies: Faith Ann and Miarcle Marie. Several Holton and Cook nieces and nephews.

Graveside visitation will be Monday, October 26, from 1:00-1:45 PM at Lawnridge Cemetery in Rochelle. Memorials can be made to the family. The family would like to thank Unity Hospice in Rochelle for everything they have done for Genena and the family.
